The Ventura Walk for Kids will be held on Sunday April 7, 2019!

7:00 AM – Registration & Activities
8:15 AM – Opening Ceremony
9:00 AM – Walk for Kids Begins

Registration: $25 (Free for kids under 18)

Walk for Kids is a fun, family-friendly 5K walk that helps raise funds for the services provided by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California and its programs throughout the region.

VACANCY NOTICE: Arts Commissioner

Applications are now being accepted for the following volunteer positions, for a four-year term:

Arts Commissioner

The Arts Commission acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council on matters pertaining to arts in the community. The Arts Commission meets on the third Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at Ojai City Hall.

Applicants can either be residents of the City of Ojai or may reside outside of the City limits,

VACANCY NOTICE: Parks and Recreation Commission Youth Commissioner

Applications are being accepted for a youth commissioner to serve on the City of Ojai Parks and Recreation Commission. Qualified applicants must be a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior high school student who lives within the boundaries of the Ojai Unified School District.

The Youth Commissioner serves for a one-year term and may serve for a maximum of four terms.

The Parks and Recreation Commission advises the City Council on all matters pertaining to public parks and recreation programs.
