City Finance Director Rudy Livingston recently completed his term as president of the California Municipal Treasurer’s Association (CMTA) and presided over the association’s annual conference in April. Prior to serving as the CMTA president, Rudy served one year as the organization’s president-elect and will now serve an additional year as the past-president.

CMTA serves close to 800 members from over 320 cities and agencies throughout California.  CMTA was founded in 1958 to provide training and support to elevate the quality of municipal treasurers in California. CMTA serves as the vehicle for quality assurance, comprehensive education programs, maintaining high professional standards, and public accountability.
