Florists are now permitted to operate under the Limited Business Operation Model of the Stay Well At Home Order

Limited Business Operation Key Points:

  1. No more than ten employees or independent contractors shall be at the facility during any 24-hour period
  2. There is no physical interaction between members of the public and employees or independent contractors of the business
  3. Members of the public are not permitted inside the business’s facilities
  4. Social distancing requirements must be followed
  5. Any goods sold by the business shall be delivered to the purchaser’s place of residence or business address
  6. The business must have social distancing protocol and have it posted

County of Ventura Expanded COVID-19 Testing Begins 5/4/20

Testing for COVID-19 has expanded to multiple locations throughout the County. Any Ventura County resident who meets the following criteria may schedule an appointment for testing by calling a State Location at 1-888-634-1123 or the County’s Ambulatory Urgent Care-sponsored testing site hotline at 805-652-7660.


Criteria For Testing

To be eligible for testing you must meet one of the two following criteria:


1. Symptomatic for COVID-19: any person with cough or shortness of breath OR two of the following symptoms: fever greater than 100.4F,

HELP Of Ojai Offering Meal Programs for Qualifying Seniors

There are currently two meal programs offering qualifying seniors three meals a day, delivered. The Ojai Restaurant and HELP of Ojai Collective is delivering 3 restaurant meals per day to valley seniors 65 and over, living alone and not receiving any Federal food assistance.

HELP of Ojai Home-Delivered Meals offers meals delivered to anyone over 60 years of age. Food pantry boxes are available for pick up by appointment at HELP’s Community Assistance Program (805)646-5122.

City of Ojai COVID-19 Update for April 30, 2020

As of April 29, there have been 517 cases of Coronavirus in Ventura County, with 17 deaths. Ojai has had 5 total cases, and Oak View has had 2 cases. We thank our residents for doing their part to help flatten the curve.
