March 23 COVID-19 Update from Ojai Police Chief and City Manager

You may have heard that the Public Health Officer has reported that there have now been over 30 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ventura County, with the first case identified in Ojai. This should remind us that no area is immune, and emphasizes how important it is that we all do our part, and follow the State and County’s Stay Well at Home orders.

March 20 Message from Mayor Johnston

Members of the Ojai Community,

Last night, the State of California released an order for all individuals living in the State of California to stay home or at their place of residence, except for essential needs, until further notice. Information on the order is available from the State’s website at: covid19.ca.gov/stay-home-except-for-essential-needs/.

City of Ojai: Coronavirus (COVID 19) Update for March 18, 2020

  • Requires indivdiuals 75 or older to shelter in place,
