The Building Permit Process For Re-Building Your Home.
(VENTURA, Calif.) – Property owners who lost a home or other structure during the Thomas Fire are invited to attend one of two public outreach presentations on June 26 or June 28 to learn about the requirements for obtaining a building permit to re-build, and the County’s expedited building permit process for fire victims. While the meetings are intended primarily for properties lost in the unincorporated areas of the county, any resident who lost a home or structure to the fire is welcome to attend.
A third meeting intended for designers and contractors will be held on June 27.
