Director’s Exemptions from Planning Commission Review of a Design Review Permit

POLICY 6.4  Administrative Policies and Procedures for Director’s Exemption from Design Review by the Planning Commission in a public hearing, issued February 8, 2019.

Director’s Exemption from Planning Commission Review of a Design Review Permit (DE 20-016) and Minor Conditional Use Permit (MCUP 20-004) | Regarding the conversion of a portion of the existing 2,400 square foot brewery to create a tap/tasting room and to add approximately 20 interior seats for on-site sale and consumption of Ojai Valley Brewery beer per ABC license Type 23, including exterior modifications to the east elevation windows and doors, along with, a limited outdoor area with new decomposed granite, new light fixtures, string lights, six tables for outdoor seating, game area, fire pit, umbrellas, bike racks, landscaping, paint the exterior, and reconfigure the parking lot, located at 307 Bryant Street. Assessor’s Parcel Number 023-0-150-295. The General Plan Land Use Designation of this site is Commercial Manufacturing (CM) and Zoning Classification of the site is Light Manufacturing Industrial (M-1).

Director’s Exemption from Planning Commission Review of a Design Review Permit (DE 20-019) for exterior work for the addition of four natural gas rectangular fire pits/tables with glass wind guards. Each fire table is 17.4 square feet resulting in 69.66 square feet total area to be covered for the four fire tables. The fire tables will be surrounded by Adirondack style chairs. The project area will be located in the area between Indigo pool and the Oak Terrace at 905 Country Club Road, APN: 024-0-010-110, Zone: IR3 (Institutional Recreational), General Plan Designation:  IR (Institutional Recreational).
